Grainne Brunsdon, Head of Content at SCREEN AUSTRALIA

As Head of Content at Screen Australia, Grainne Brunsdon leads on production investment, story development, distribution support, and initiatives across Australian screen content, including feature film, television, online, documentary and games; industry development programs for above and below the line practitioners; and international initiatives.

Grainne has more than 25 years’ experience working in the creative industries, including roles at Screen NSW and Arts NSW, as well as leadership positions in international cultural relations with the British Council and arts organisations in Sydney.

As Head of Screen NSW, Grainne oversaw the state’s investment in the local screen sector, including industry development and international production incentives. Prior to this Grainne was Director of Arts Investment, Engagement and Development at Create NSW, overseeing all arts funding programs and initiatives.

Rosemary Blight, Producer of CARMEN (2023)

Rosemary Blight is a founding partner of Goalpost Pictures and is one of Australia’s most experienced producers. She produced BLACK SNOW, the internationally acclaimed Stan Original Series, for Sundance Now and All3 Media starring Travis Fimmel. She served as Producer for Benjamin Millepied’s debut feature film CARMEN, a drama with music and dance, with original songs by Academy-Award nominated Nicholas Britell, co-produced with Chapter 2 and starring Melissa Barrera, Academy-Award nominated Paul Mescal and Rossy de Palma. Rosemary is Executive Producer of FIVE BLIND DATES, the first Local Amazon Original feature film directed by Shawn Seet.

Her other producing credits include; Producer of I AM WOMAN, the story of Australian international singing superstar Helen Reddy, directed by Unjoo Moon; Executive Producer on Universal’s THE INVISIBLE MAN, written and directed by Leigh Whannell and starring Elisabeth Moss; and Goalpost Television revisionist western NEW GOLD MOUNTAIN for SBS and All3 Media; Producer of TOP END WEDDING, co-written and starring Miranda Tapsell and directed by Wayne Blair; Producer of the global hit THE SAPPHIRES which premiered at Cannes in 2012 and the internationally acclaimed ABC drama series CLEVERMAN, which nominated for a Peaboy Award in 2017.

Corrie Chen, director of NEW GOLD MOUNTAIN.

Corrie Chen, award-winning writer/director known for her work in both drama and comedy. She recently directed the Stan Original mini-series BAD BEHAVIOUR (2023) for Matchbox Pictures, which premiered at the prestigious 2023 Berlinale in the Official Competition category. Another notable project she directed is the critically acclaimed and award-winning Goalpost/SBS mini-series NEW GOLD MOUNTAIN (2021), where she won the Australian Directors Guild Award for Best Mini-series.

Currently, Corrie is at the helm of THE ARTFUL DODGER, series for Disney+ featuring David Thewlis. Her impressive portfolio also includes directing the AACTA award-winning series WENWORTH (Fremantle/Foxtel) and all three series of the International Emmy-nominated MUSTANGS FC (Matchbox Pictures/ABC). Additionally, she has directed the SBS comedy series HOMECOMING QUEENS and has worked on numerous other shows, showcasing her versatility and storytelling prowess.

Corrie Chen's track record speaks to her talent and dedication as a writer and director, solidifying her status as a highly respected figure in the industry.
