From the award-winning director Ho Wi-Ding (CITIES OF LAST THINGS, 2018), a master of creating multilayered narrative that tackles human loneliness in the metropolis. Director Ho’s short film RESPIRE (2005) won two awards at Cannes - International Critics’ Week, and SUMMER AFTERNOON (2008), which was also selected for Cannes – Directors’ Fortnight. Ho captures the essence of loneliness that eventually turned evil in contrast with obsequiousness in the lives of the characters in TERRORIZERS. 

In a metropolitan city of Taiwan, everyone is living their day-to-day lives, in search of dreams, love, and happiness. As they encounter an unexpected incident which evokes their miseries and desires, where do they turn to rebuild and understand the meaning of life? 

集合新生代一線演員飆戲，何蔚庭導演探討當代社會人際關係、情感、身體，引用cosplay、虛擬實境、情色直播等元素反芻媒體現象的灰色愛情片。乍看浪漫情侶和都會愛情故事要成形，惡意卻在角落伺機而動，引發幾個青年男女之間錯綜複雜的關係與劫難。沒有人是壞人，每個人卻都不小心越線，跌落深淵。

舞台劇演員玉芳（李沐 飾）和舊時相識的小張（林哲熹 飾）重逢，情愫暗生；同時玉芳和劇團的好友Monica（陳庭妮 飾）之間的互動亦若有似無；玉芳的陌生房客明亮（林柏宏 飾）則是一個沉迷電玩，不善交際的陰沉宅男，被喜歡cosplay的另一名少女綺綺（姚愛寗 飾）暗戀著。一日玉芳和小張遭到隨機攻擊，Monica的過往秘密也被掀開，諸人難分難解的關係和危機急轉直下......
