Unfolding over the course of a single, fluid night in Taipei, director KUO Cheng-chui’s latest feature crafts a lyrical allegory about memory, modern isolation, and the lingering weight of unspoken choices. Bringing together rising Taiwanese talents CHEN Yu and HOU Yen-hsi, this atmospheric drama immediately establishes itself as a striking exploration of contemporary urban displacement.

Thirty-year-old Bai-mei unexpectedly runs into her former lover, Jack, on the rain-slicked streets of western Taipei. The sudden, chance arrival of their old mutual friend, Ah-shin, instantly pulls the trio back into the shared orbit of their youth and their long-abandoned acting dreams. As the evening deepens and the city’s shadows lengthen, long-buried misgivings and romantic regrets begin to resurface, transforming this nostalgic reunion into a definitive, heart-wrenching turning point for their intertwined lives.

Utilizing deliberate pauses, delicate gazes, and bittersweet dialogue, Kuo masterfully maps the emotional fractures and silent yearnings between his characters. Shifting his lens to the neon-lit, drifting urban landscape of Taiwan's capital, Kuo brilliantly marries the transient, one-night-together magic of Richard Linklater’s Before trilogy with the melancholic introspection of Edward Yang’s Taipei Story (1985) to deliver a profoundly resonant, intimate portrait of transient love.

旅法導演郭承衢在《德布西森林》後，睽違多年回歸本土創作的劇情長片《明日的過客》，將其著名的法式感性與電影節奏帶回台灣。影片由金鐘實力派演員陳妤、侯彥西攜手郭子豪、毛祁芸共同主演。郭承衢以細膩的情感書寫與漫遊結構，將一夜台北轉化為情感流動的容器，構築出一場關於記憶、遺憾與選擇的都市寓言。

故事在台北一個平靜卻暗潮洶湧的夜晚展開。三十歲的白玫獨自行走於西區街頭，意外重逢多年未見的舊情人傑克，而昔日好友阿信的出現，更將三人拉回年輕時共同追逐演員夢的記憶之中。在夜色流動間，過去與現在彼此滲透，迫使他們直面那些未曾說出口的抉擇，讓這一夜成為重新理解生命軌跡的轉折點。

本片完美融合了理查．林克萊特《愛在》系列的一夜漫遊，與楊德昌《台北故事》式的冷靜內省。導演透過日常對話、微妙的停頓與視線交會，勾勒出人物內心難以言說的情緒裂縫，柔軟而克制地呈現出當代都市情感關係的脆弱與真實。
