In his latest film, MARRY MY DEAD BODY, Cheng skillfully blends supernatural comedy and crime thriller elements, creating a brilliant mix-genre knockout that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats and evokes a wide range of emotions throughout the film. 

One fateful day, Ming-Han, a dedicated policeman, stumbles upon a mysterious red envelope on the floor, setting in motion a series of extraordinary events. To his surprise, the envelope leads him to an arranged marriage with a deceased man. Initially, Ming-Han assumes that life will return to normalcy after the marriage, but he soon discovers that he has the ability to see the ghost of his husband, Mao-Mao. Complicating matters further, Mao-Mao's spirit refuses to depart, leaving Ming-Han perplexed and desperate for answers.

個性莽直又仇同的刑警吳明翰（許光漢 飾）在一次執勤事件後，意外遇上靈異現象，被男同志毛毛（林柏宏 飾）的鬼魂纏上，不情願地冥婚。兩個「人」的吵架過程中，吳明翰的個性和生活卻漸漸產生變化。一方面他與警花同事林子晴（王淨 飾）維持亦敵亦友的曖昧關係，一方面他得偵辦和毛毛之死有重大關聯的緝毒案......
