When the mutilated body of a young woman is discovered, a media storm erupts—despite the regime’s efforts to suppress the news. Pressured from all sides, the authorities swiftly pin the crime on a revered war hero. But the man’s son, newly assigned to the investigative unit, becomes entangled in the case and determined to uncover the truth. Teaming up with an unrelenting journalist, he soon discovers a web of secrets that run deeper than either of them could have imagined.

《搜查瑠公圳》重現台灣近代最駭人的真實懸案之一。1961年，一名女子被肢解的屍體在瑠公圳被發現，震撼社會，掀起全民辦案與媒體瘋狂炒作。警方在49天內展開調查，逮捕近八十名嫌犯。此時謠言四起，偵辦過程困難重重，昔日戰爭英雄將軍更被意外捲入該命案，進而激起時代的社會風暴。
1961年台北，刑警趙子午（朱軒洋 飾）為了洗清父親罪名，決定與女記者張秀秀（吳卓源 飾）聯手追查真相。在權謀、謊言與輿論交織的迷霧中，他們一步步深入案件核心，卻意外牽扯出更龐大的政治陰影與歷史傷痕。這不再只是一起命案，而是一場關於正義、親情與信任的時代風暴。
金獎導演賴俊羽首度挑戰犯罪驚悚類型，推出台灣式福爾摩斯探案新作《搜查瑠公圳》。本片以寫實鏡頭語言揭露1960年代社會的不安與壓抑，並藉由這場懸案，讓觀眾不只見證謀殺案的偵破，更是對公義、傷痛與集體記憶的一次深刻凝視。
