FAR AWAY EYES is created with an enigmatic atmosphere of Taipei City in black and white, combined with a striking aesthetic nostalgia contrast with bustling metropolitan scenes. This poetic work of art is a must-see for all cinephiles.

Turning 30 is a watershed in one's life according to traditional Taiwanese culture. Director Wang decided to pick up the camera and capture this moment in time. Wang Chun-Hong himself plays a leading role who wanders through the city to find the meaning of it all. His accidental encounter with an ex-girlfriend propels him to reconsider his past, present and future in the river of time.

台灣新銳導演王君弘的首部長片，沈可尚監製，具有散文和日記性質的典型「私電影」。拍攝台北常民的通勤時光、選舉影像、本土與外來並陳的獨特都會風景。靜態攝影師出身的王君弘選擇以黑白呈現畫面，溫和的灰階使電影罩著懷舊質感。

王君弘化身為主角。一名躊躇的藝術工作者因生活而奔波，流連在住處與城市巷弄，偶然拾起和前女友相處的蹤跡。個體的愛情絮語以外，引發對島國未來的不安詰問。
